Day 1 -
Put on your
boots and join
your guide for a
trip to Red Rock
country! Your
destination
today is Sedona,
with its
beautiful red
rocks and
colorful
canyons. Enjoy a
little time for
browsing the
many
Southwestern art
galleries before
embarking on
your Cowboy
Experience. This
evening includes
a sunset trail
ride, wagon
ride, steak
cookout by
campfire and
western music
under the stars.
(Not available
on Sunday.)
Overnight Sedona
Day 2 -
Today, travel
through scenic
Oak Creek Canyon
on your way to
Grand Canyon
National Park.
This wonder of
the world is
more beautiful
than any photo
can ever capture
and you’ll stop
for your own
photos along the
way. Enjoy time
on your own for
a walk along the
rim or just
relax and take
in the view. Overnight Grand
Canyon area.
Day 3 -
Explore the Canyon on foot with your local naturalist guide. Your hiking expedition will last approximately five hours and cover between three and six miles depending on the abilities of the group. Remember that Grand Canyon hiking is somewhat strenuous and you should be in fit condition. The elevation change will be
approximately 1,000 feet (305 meters.) Please remember to bring adequate water and snacks. Later, enjoy the Imax Theatre presentation, “Hidden Secrets of the Grand Canyon.”
Day 4 -
Enjoy your free time this morning and early afternoon with a visit into the park to take advantage of the free local shuttle there to additional
Grand Canyon viewpoints on the west rim. Depart the Grand Canyon area late this afternoon for your return to the Phoenix area, arriving between
7:30-8:30 PM.
